Edward Ricourt is an American screenwriter and television producer He began his career through Marvel Studios Writing Program which encouraged him to write a script for Luke Cage as it was of high interest to the studio Despite no Luke Cage project being made Ricourt contributed uncredited script revisions to Thor 2011 However Ricourt gained significant recognition in theatrical filmmaking as a cowriter of the screenplay and story for the heist thriller Now You See Me 2013 which led to further involvement in the franchise In television Ricourt served as a writer and executive story editor on Wayward Pines 2015 contributing to the shows second season That same year he wrote for the Marvel television series Jessica Jones 2015 and worked as a consulting producer Ricourt continued this trajectory as a writer and producer on Netflixs superhero family drama Raising Dion 2019 where he wrote teleplays and served as a producer and later supervising producer across multiple episodes from 2019 to 2022 He was nominated at the Childrens Family Emmy Awards for Outstanding Childrens or Family Viewing Series for Raising Dion 2019 alongside fellow producers and creative leads
