Lee Wontae is a South Korean film director screenwriter and producer best known for the 2019 actionthriller The Gangster the Cop the Devil Before moving into film he spent over a decade producing shows for the South Korean TV network MBC He also cofounded the company Wontak which focuses on creating movels novels written specifically with future film adaptations in mind
