Gaëlle Boucand

Since 2010 Gaëlle Boucand an artist and cineaste has focused on making films that are a blend between contemporary art and contemporary cinema She has directed among others GONE TO CROATAN 2010 in which she follows a community of ravers along with the trilogy JJA 2012 CHANGE OF SCENERY 2015 and JA 2020 a kaleidoscopic portrait of a man whose life is caught up in the 20th century history Her films have been shown throughout various international art institutions Paris Museum of Modern Art Kunsthalle Mannheim MAST Bologne Bethanien Berlin Athens and Thessaloniki Museums of Contemporary Art and have won awards in FID Marseille Hors Pistes Festival in Beaubourg and Coté Court in Pantin In 2015 she cofounded the production company Elinka Film with 4 other directors
